He Xi, whose pen name is taken from Du Fu's poem "Today and again, He Xi, share the light of this lamp and candlelight". His original name was He Hongwei. He was born in 1971. He began to engage in science fiction creation in 1991 and has been engaged in science fiction creation for 25 years. His representative works include "Six Paths of Beings" and "The Heartbreaker". He has won different awards from the Galaxy Award 15 times.

"Tian Nian" is He Xi's first full-length science fiction novel. It was published by Sichuan Literature and Art Publishing House in October 2015. It belongs to the "Science Fiction World" and "Chinese Science Fiction Cornerstone Series" together with Liu Cixin's "The Three-Body Problem". , the story tells "a period of cosmic history that human beings are about to encounter and be addicted to, a super disaster that is irresistible in both time and space scales." Human beings encounter a tens of millions of years of ice age and will implement a big plan to move the solar system. Liu Cixin praised reading this story as "going through a soul-shaking apocalyptic experience." Wang Jinkang praised He Xi for "having extensive knowledge, whether it is religion, history, astronomy, folklore, etc., he can easily pick it up at his fingertips." Han Song thought that he "has strong humanistic compassion and cosmic feelings."

Xia Jia's "Good Night, Melancholy" explores the Turing test and artificial intelligence. The more perfect the "communication" with machine code becomes, the more lonely one feels. "Ba Lin" by Chen Qiufan tells the story of the protagonist who received Ba Lin as a gift from his father when he was a boy. After he grew up, he learned about Ba Lin's inner world through technological means, and understood Ba Lin and then his father. Science fiction writer Han Song once revealed in an interview that he is very optimistic about Chen Qiufan's work "Ba Lin" and believes that his writing is very mature and can be classified as a classic, and he is a favorite to win the award. Miss Cynic's "The Promised Child" tells the story of humans extending their tentacles of genetic modification to unborn babies. The innocent and pure "surrogate machine" does not even know what the first two children look like, but doubts that she can feel them...

The Galaxy Awards were first established in 1986 and were co-organized by Science Fiction World magazine (then known as Science Fiction Literature and Art) and Wisdom Tree.
