Architecture firms MVRDV and ADEPT recently collaborated to design a lifestyle experience center called KuBe in Copenhagen, Denmark. It sounds a little bit mysterious, but in fact, it is a playground designed to encourage adults to exercise more. From the moment they enter, every player needs to use their brains and move their whole body to find a route to and from the playground freely.
The entire "playground" is a multi-layered indoor space. What players have to do is to use climbing, running, jumping, drilling, sliding and other postures, and use different built-in appliances to go upstairs and then downstairs, such as using steel pipes to slide down, or pulling and telescopic to climb uphill, etc. Then, in the space on each floor, the playground has also prepared themed entertainment projects, including skateboards, mazes, slides, and you can also sit down and take a nap.

“The space used for rest can also be used as a venue for meetings, debates, and performances; other spaces can also be used for line dancing, yoga, etc. ”MVRDV stated in the relevant design description.

The entire playground covers a total area of 3,200 square meters and is an attempt by MVRDV and ADEPT to create a lifestyle space. Compared with the previous lifestyle of shopping, eating, watching exhibitions, and watching dramas, the two offices hope to emphasize the importance of exercise in modern people's lives in this experimental space.
