Perhaps you still remember that we have reported that since May 1, a new exhibition of Yayoi Kusama has opened in the "Glass House" museum campus in the United States. She first placed 1,300 mirrored iron balls that floated with the water in the lake in the park, and then placed mirrored hollow polka-dotted pumpkins on the grass. She also promised to bring surprises to the exhibition later. Now - two months before the official end of the exhibition, she has fulfilled her promise. From September 1st to 26th, friends who go to the exhibition can see the "Glass House" that has just been decorated with red polka dots.

However, compared with Yayoi Kusama’s previous buildings transformed with polka dots, this glass house seems less dense than before.
In fact, this was Yayoi Kusama's deliberate move, because the purpose of this exhibition is to make the "Glass House" a space that connects and integrates the house builder, the late designer and Pritzker Prize winner Philip Johnson, the exhibition creator Yayoi Kusama, and visitors.

Now, whether they are seeing themselves reflected in the mirrored iron balls and hollow mirrored polka-dot pumpkins in the lake, or looking at the furnishings and natural scenery outside through the gaps between the polka-dots in the glass house, visitors can feel that the relationship between themselves and the works of the masters has become closer than ever.
Did you see the spark of the collision of ideas between the two masters?
