6.3  New products in Mobvoi series

If you still don’t know what Mobvoi is, you can simply understand it as a mobile application that uses voice search to query various food, clothing, housing and transportation information. Based on its technology accumulation in voice search, the company has also begun to manufacture smart hardware products across borders.

At the beginning of June, Mobvoi released four products, three hardware and one software. Among them, the smart watch Ticwatch 2 is the most important protagonist. Compared with other common smart watches on the market, the biggest selling point of this watch is naturally the voice technology. Judging from the results of on-site experience, the accuracy and response speed of speech recognition have been greatly improved compared to the previous generation product Ticwatch 1.

Another hardware product, Ticmirror, is mainly used in the automotive field as a smart rearview mirror. In addition to the navigation and driving recorder functions of conventional smart rearview mirrors, voice control technology is also integrated into it, allowing voice control to make and receive calls, support gesture control, and linkage with WeChat for remote monitoring.

Of course, in order to make Ticmirror more complete, Ticeye can also be optionally equipped, which can realize front collision warning and lane departure warning, help improve driving safety, and is especially suitable for novices.

6.6 Duoduo VR glasses

There are already too many VR glasses on the market to count, and this product released by a start-up company dlodlo claims to be the lightest VR glasses.

According to Duoduo CEO Li Gang, the weight of Duoduo V1 has dropped from 128g last year to 78g, which is about one-sixth of the existing helmet, almost the same weight as two sunglasses, and the thickness is controlled at 16mm. It was first unveiled at CES Asia in May last year. At that time, it was still an all-in-one design, with the goal of creating consumer-grade VR glasses for movie playback.

With the rapid changes in the entire virtual reality industry, Duoduo has also adjusted the design direction. The Duoduo team has adjusted the design direction and changed the all-in-one product to a split design. The resolution can reach 2K, which can achieve a field of view of about 100 degrees, a refresh rate of 90HZ, and a dynamic delay of less than 10ms. In addition, there is an interpupillary distance adjustment range of 60mm-70mm, which supports myopia lens customization and somatosensory device interaction within 300 degrees.

However, there is currently no real machine to experience. According to Duoduo’s official statement, a launch conference will be held in New York, USA on August 8, at which time the price and details will be announced.

A low-end mobile phone that only sells for 699 yuan but wants to enhance its camera function.

This product has an 8-megapixel front camera, which uses a back-illuminated sensor from SONY/Hynix. It has a large F2.0 aperture and a 4P lens group. The 27mm wide angle can accommodate more smiling faces.

The rear camera uses a 13-megapixel sensor from SONY/OV, with a large F2.0 aperture to ensure sufficient light transmission, and is equipped with a 5P lens group and a blue glass filter. What is different from many common 2-in-1 computers on the market is that this newly released Remix Pro runs an optimized Android system instead of Microsoft Windows system.

This product is designed by Design Works, a design team under BMW. The body is made of Unibody one-piece molding process and all magnesium alloy. This is the first mobile phone launched by TCL Communications after reorganizing its team. It is positioned at the mid-range and is priced at 1,993 yuan, which is considered a high price among the mobile phone products launched by TCL in the past.

However, apart from giving this phone some literary and artistic concepts, its configuration does not have particularly eye-catching performance compared with phones of the same price on the market.

6.28 Nubia Z11 mobile phone

June 28th must be a good day. In addition to TCL choosing to release new products on this day, Nubia also released a new mobile phone product, the Z11.

This product features a "bezel-less" design and is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. It is divided into standard version (4GB + 64GB memory combination) and exclusive version (6GB + 128GB memory combination), priced at 2,499 yuan and 3,499 yuan respectively.

nubia Z11 Max is equipped with nubia UI 3.9.9, which is deeply optimized based on Android 5.1.1. The split-screen function is a major feature of nubia UI, which allows two interfaces to appear on the system, such as chatting on WeChat and reading articles at the same time.
